About Mahanadi Education Society (MES)

Mahanadi Education Society has started in the year 1994 under the chairmanship of Shri. Swaroopchand Jain. Shri. Shailendra Jain is the secretary of the society. The aim of the society is to provide value added education for the youth and work towards utilization of value. The society also undertake to work for betterment of human life through utilization of modern technology.

  • Shri Swaroopchand Jain

    Shri Swaroopchand Jain is the President of Mahanadi Education Society. He is an eminent social and political worker, businessman, industrialist and philanthropist of Chhattisgarh State. He became the first mayor of Raipur Municipal Corporation in the year 1980. He was elected twice-first in 1980 and then in 1985 to the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Raipur City constituency. He is a successful businessman and industrialist.

  • Shri Shailendra Jain

    Shri Shailendra Jain is a Chemical Engineer by qualification. He is the Secretary of Mahanadi Education Society. He is the driving force behind the establishment of Raipur Institute of Technology, Raipur, one of the oldest and leading Private Engineering College in the State. He is always interested in taking up new educational projects for the betterment of students.

  • Smt. Lalita Jain

    Smt. Lalita Jain, Vice-President of Mahanadi Education Society is a keen social activist and guiding the educational activities of the society for nearly quarter of a century.

  • Mr. Sanjay Jain

    Mr. Sanjay Jain, Treasurer-Mahanadi Education Society is a unique possibility thinker with immense international exposure who has the rare gift of sensing social conditions and people’s potential therein to make breakthroughs in forming new equations for success.

    Smt. Sangeeta Jain is a social activist, nature enthusiast, businesswoman and heading the educational activities of the society for nearly a decade.

WORLD HEALTH DAY 2018:PANEL DISCUSSION

RITEE College of Nursing organized Panel discussion on Current Health Aspects and issues on the Occasion of World Health Day on 07/04/2018 in seminar hall. All the students and Faculties Participated in this Panel discussion and acquired more knowledge regarding advancement in health, medical errors, technology advancement in pediatric care, food adulteration and healthy life styles.


SICKLING CAMP:

Our students are actively participated in Sickling camp Organized by PHC-Mandir Hasaud on 21/03/2018. In this camp, Blood examination has done for more than 250 peoples in order to identify the sickle cell anemia and also Hemoglobulin test and blood grouping has done by our SNA volunteers along with medical team of PHC.


SWATCH BHARAT ACTIVITIES:

We have Organized “Swatch Bharat” activities at the Chhatauna on 16/03/2018. Here schools, anganwadi and other public places were cleaned by Here, our SNA Volunteers Participated in cleaning activities in and around schools; anganwadi and other public places of Chhatauna and also SNA volunteers motivated the School children, teachers and public to keep the surroundings clean. The students were cleaned in and around the PHC Mandir Hasaud.


GUEST LECTURE:

RITEE College of organized a Guest Lecture on Prevention of Uterine Cancer on 17/02/2018 at Seminar Hall. Dr. Aniket Thoke, Oncologist from Sanjeevani CBCC USA Cancer Hospital, delivered the lecture and made group discussion on treatment modality for early uterine cancer and prevention. He asked the participant to create the awareness among women while going for community visit


PREVENTION OF ORAL CANCER AND TOBACCO AWARENESS PROGRAMME:

Wehave organized prevention of oral cancer and tobacco awareness programme on 17/01/2018 at our seminar hall. The Awareness Programme Consist of Lecture and Group Discussion by Mr.Rahul Chopra and Mr.Chandrasekar Rao from Community Health Center, Arang. All the students and Faculties Participated in this Awareness Programme and got motivated to prevent the use of tobacco and control oral Cancer among public.


INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (IDPD):

The SNA Unit of RITEE College of Nursing Organized Poster presentation for “International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD)” in Seminar Hall on 05/12/2017. There are 16 students Participated in Poster presentation based on the Theme of “Transformation towards Sustainable and Resilient Society for All”. The Lecture given by Mr.Balakrishnanregarding the Social Status of Disable People and Responsibilities of Nurses for Promoting Welfare of Disables.


WORLD AIDS DAY AWARENESS PROGRAMME:

The SNA Unit of RITEE College of Nursing organized World AIDS Day programme in seminar hall on 01/12/2017.The Awareness Programme includes Quiz competition and Skit. There are eight groups Participated in Quiz Competition in three rounds which consist of eligibility Round, Pre final Round and Final Round. The Group-III led by Mr. Mohar Singh won the first prize and Group-II led by Ms. Udita Sahu won the second prize. The SNA volunteers Performed Skit regarding Causes, mode of transmission, Diagnosis, treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS.


INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY-2017

Third International Yoga Day was celebrated by RITEE college of Nursing on the 21st June 2017. The Students and the Faculty practiced yoga under the guidance of a yoga teacher Mr. Sachin Singh.The session ended with the instructor bringing everyone to the seated position and pressing the hands together and saying “Namaste” a symbol of gratitude & respect. Then the Students and the Faculties took an oath “To practice yoga daily thereby being pure in thought word and deed and treat every human with love and respect”. Simultaneously, RITCON also conducted yoga session at the adopted village Chhatauna. This was actively participated by Village Sarpanch Mrs. Sarojani Jangde, School going children, School Staff along with RITCON Faculties.


CLEANLINESS CAMPAIGN

A cleanliness campaign was organized on 15th June 2017on the college premises and the surrounding areas. The campaign began with the Principal highlighting the importance of hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness. The faculties and students actively took part in the cleanliness drive by enthusiastically taking by brooms and garbage bags to clean the class rooms, corridors, college grounds and surrounding areas. The entire drive was quite inspiring and motivating for the staff and students. The campaign ended with the student’s faculties and staff taking a pledge to keep clean their college, homes and public places and by educating the general public about throwing waste in the dustbins, avoid spitting on the roads and keeping themselves neat and tidy.


WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATION

Green Drive – 05th June 2017 was celebrated as World Environment Day by RITCON along with other departments of RITEE. On this auspicious day massive planting of saplings around the college premises was undertaken under the initiative of Principal along with faculty and nursing students.


INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY CELEBRATION

RITEE College of Nursing celebrated the International Nurses Day on 12th May 2017. Every year celebrated the Birth day of Pioneer of Modern Nursing Florence Nightingale as International Nurses Day. The Nurses day celebration started with the welcome song followed lighting the lamp. Further, Florence Nightingale pledge was administered by the Principal and all the students and faculties were took oath. The cultural session started with the skit about the history of Florence Nightingale, the lady with the lamp. The students were also presented the different cultural programmes for the promotion of nursing activities. The celebration is felicitated by Shailendra Jain, secretary of Mahanadi Education Society and he wishes the all the students and faculties. The celebration ended with vote of thanks proposed by the faculty.

Congratulation to Ms. Pushpa Mahilane (student of 4th year B. Sc Nursing) who got third prize in state level poster competition conducted by Bethany College of Nursing on 23-24th February 2013 with the theme of " The Virtues of Mothers womb "


TRAINING OF TRAINERS (TOT) PROGRAMME.

Our faculty Ms. Sneha Smiriti Das, Ms. Sheela Panna and Ms. Bharti Chandrakar were attended one day Training of Trainers (ToT) programme on Basic Neonatal Resuscitation Programme, organized by Indian Acdemy of Paediatric�s (IAP) Chhattisgarh Branch in association with department of Pediatrics, Pt. J.N.M Medical College, Raipur on 14th April 2013.


TRAINING OF TRAINERS (TOT) PROGRAMME

Mr. P. Balakrishnan and Mr. Packianatha Emmanuel was attended Training of Trainers (ToT) programme on AIDS / HIV, Tuberculosis organized by Indian Nursing Council (INC) at PG Colleg of Nursing, Bhilai.

WORLD TUBERCULOSIS DAY

The rally was organized by the college on 24th March 2015 towards international world Tuberculosis day to stop TB.


WORLD MALARIA DAY

The Mass Health education programme organized by the college in nearby village on 25th April 2015 towards World Malarial Day to eradicate Malaria.

FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Chhattisgarh Industrial & Technical Consultancy Centre (CITCON) in association with Raipur Institute of Technology is organizing a Two weeks Faculty Development Programme on Entrepreneurship for the faculty members of RITEE in the campus, which was inagurated today in the presence of dignitaries & staff from both the organizations. Mr. P.K. Nimonkar (State Head, CITCON) gave the introductory address for the ceremony followed by Mr. Anil Kalele (Senior Engineer, CITCON), Dr. H. Kumar (Advisor, RITEE) and Mr. Swaroop Chand Jain (Chairman, Mahanadi Education Society). Mr. Alok Tiwari (Programme Coordinator, CITCON) along with staff from RITEE was also present in the ocassion. All the dignitaries in their speech, focused on the different sectors of entrepreneurship, it's importance in the current scenario and motivated the participants to encourage enterpreneurship among the youth and the students. Dr. M. Venugopala Rao (Principal, Raipur Institute of Technology), closed the ceremony with a vote of thanks. This programme will continue for the next two weeks (17th Dec.- 31st Dec.) in which faculty will be trained in a manner such that they can inculcate entrepreneurship skills among the students.


REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION AT RITEE

Republic Day was celebrated with pride in RITEE, wherein staff and students from all the departments participated. Act on recent Pathankot attacks got everyone emotional in the conclusion of the program.
